Born on 15th of January 1934 in Kalampaka. During his childhood he experienced the monstrosity of World War II along with the hardships and plights that a war imposes upon the memories and lives of people.
Eventhough being born into a stock-farming family with many children, he exhibited from an early age a great interest in education. He graduated from Zosimea Educational Academy in Ioannina and continued his training in Maraslio University of Athens.
His life partner, educator Vasiliki Raptou with whom he had three children, Konstantia (Ntia) Nikolas (Nikos) and Antonis (that˘s me).
He served life and education with full dedication, alacrity, diligence and industriousness.
He was a lighthouse for many people of our city. His contribution to education and culture, society and religion, was invaluable. He was characterized as a human encyclopedia and up until the end of his life he was particularly perspective. He surprised everyone with his IT skills using with ease laptops and all social media (emailing, Facebook, Skype, convert).
Unfortunately, on the 30th of January 2022 he became a victim of covid-19 leaving a huge wound in our hearts and family.

~ The house ~
A few days before leaving this world, he agreed with my suggestion to convert the top floor of our residence into rooms available for short-term rental.
During the construction work he's secretly supervised everything usually late at night or very early in the morning although his fragile health made it hard.
Just before the completion of the project, he said his last goodbye by leaving a huge legacy: his wisdom, his knowledge, his ethics and his spirit which will accompany us until the end of our lives as a guide in every choice we make.
The house is built in the memory of the teacher («The Teacher's House») and the five apartments are named after the other family members.
JUNE 2022
Currently two apartments are available to rent. «Giannis» (Ioannis – father) and «Nikos» (brother) who unfortunately is watching us from the sky together with my father.

The apartment «Antonis» is ready to host our guests.

«The Teacher's House» was completed with the apartments«Ntia» and «Vasilikoula» opening for our guests.
